El or la?El of la?

A noun is never alone: it has a side, a number, and a word in front of it. Pick a layer, answer the card, and the words you keep missing come back sooner. Five right in a row retires a word. Progress stays in this browser.Een zelfstandig naamwoord staat nooit alleen: het heeft een kant, een getal en een woord ervoor. Die kant is niet hetzelfde als de of het. Kies een laag, beantwoord de kaart, en de woorden die je blijft missen komen sneller terug. Vijf keer goed op rij en een woord is afgerond. Je voortgang blijft in deze browser.

Demonstratives and possessives are not learned noun by noun. There are four shapes — masculine or feminine, one or many — and every noun on the walls above picks one of them from the two facts it already carries.Aanwijzende en bezittelijke voornaamwoorden leer je niet per zelfstandig naamwoord. Er zijn vier vormen — mannelijk of vrouwelijk, enkelvoud of meervoud — en elk woord op de muren hierboven kiest er een uit de twee gegevens die het al heeft. Het Nederlands kiest anders: dit of deze, dat of die hangt af van de of het.
